Hi all. I'm here to share with you all what happened during prayer meeting yesterday. Pastor Kong spoke to us a couple of things and i thought it'll be great to let every1 kw what he said.
He shared with us the 3 things that Dr John Avanzini spoke about during services 2 wekks ago.
Just to recall: Dr John spoke about 1)Altar of God 2) Family 3) Vocation
He also said that he felt a strong burden for the 3 things
1) Altar (house) Of God
Pastor shared with us how close we came to purchasing 2 plots of land. The first plot of land is unlikely to purchased, due to the fact that the land faces the problem of high traffic congestion. We almost got the second plot of land but the devlopers backed out at the last min, due to the economic downturn. Therefore, do pray for the House of God. Pray that God will not cause any form of economic recession to rob us of our land.
2) Family
Pastor spoke to us specifically about Sun. How Sun was our ambassador to the marketplace and that God is using her greatly to be a global star in the music industry. Btw, Sun just came back to Singapore yesterday. She's going to spend X'mas with us. Praise the Lord! Anyway, Pastor gave us a brief look at Sun's work commitments for the 1st half of next year. Wow, i tell u...she is going to be one busy woman. Therefore do keep Sun in prayer. Pray that God will sustain her with strength and that His anointing will be with Sun as she goes forth to record songs for her english album.
3)Growth (focus on this point more!)
This is the most impt point. Like what Weiren shared with us from Isaiah 54:1-3
1)"Sing, O barren woman,you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD.
2)"Enlarge the place of your tent,stretch your tent curtains wide,
do not hold back; lengthen your cords,strengthen your stakes.
3)For you will spread out to the right and to the left;
your descendants will dispossess nations
and settle in their desolate cities
This is the verse for our cg this season! That God WILL enlarge our tents and He will not cause us to be hindered while reaching out to our friends. Just have faith and do not hold back from reaching out to people.
I truly believe God will do a great work in our midst. How? Cos when the people are of one mind, one vision, nothing they do shall be witheld from them.
Thus, let us believe in 50 friends this candlelight and X'mas services!!!
W406, are u all ready? Stand tgt my dear brothers n sisters. Lets finish the year well. We are one and we will always be one no matter what happens.
Lets Think, Speak and Pray for that number and it shall come to past.
To sum it up, Deut 30:14 says: but the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may DO it.
Let's look forth towards seeing our efforts bear fruit this X'mas XD Qm
