Cg meeting yesterday

Hello all. This is for the benefit of those who did not attend Cg meeting yesterday or to those who simply like to see themselves in the blog post. Aiyo BHB...haha, joking*

Yesterday, I was rushing to reach cg meeting on time. Somehow I felt like Jesus. Why leh? Cos He's never late and never early, always on time! haha. Anyway, reached Ernest's house at 258, it turned out to be 2 mins early.So i guess i missed the mark. However, i soon realised that there was only 9 of us there then. Somehow, i didnt quite kw whether to be horrified or relieved that cg meeting had not begun. (due to the fact that there were only so little of us there then) Anyway, Wan Yi joined us later and we then had a 10 person Cg meeting.

We played 2 games during Cg. The first game was led by me and the second game by Weiren. We played "Big fish, Small fish" and "Pom, Pi pi pi" game.I could tell everyone had a fun time playing the games and I'm glad the atmosphere became quite relaxed after playing the games.

We then had our praise and worship session. We sang 5 songs in total, 3 praise and 2 worship. I was like "wow, it's just like a mega singing session. Back to back, non-stop hits!" lol. Anyway, the atmosphere was great. There was a strong presence of God and I could tell many of us were greatly touched by His presence.

Weiren then shared a word with us to end off the cg meeting. He shared on Isaiah 54:1-3. Here is the extract of the verse:

1)"Sing, O barren woman,you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD.

2)"Enlarge the place of your tent,stretch your tent curtains wide,
do not hold back; lengthen your cords,strengthen your stakes.

3)For you will spread out to the right and to the left;
your descendants will dispossess nations
and settle in their desolate cities

Weiren encouraged us not to lose heart during this X'mas season of reaching out to our friends and family members. For God shall surely enlarge your capacity and ability to reach out to people during this festive season. He also shared with us about the birthday of Jesus. How the greatest present we can ever give Jesus on His birthday, is to bring the lost to Him. Weiren even confessed that he was touched by what he said, haha.

Anyway, i was like "Wow, this verse is so for me la." Therefore, i believe and i speak that i shall be barren no more this year. I will lead my friends to Christ and see them being touched by His presence during service. Hallelujah!

We then had our time of offering and started our time of fellowship soon after. Jing Yuan and Sunthari left. Ernest,Isaiah and Eugene played dota, Wan Yi and Felicia played the piano and me,Israel and Weiren played songs on youtube.

Actually, it felt like Me and Israel were entertaining Weiren cos he was playing all the retro songs from the 80s, on youtube. He seemed to have a lot of fun doing that, he said that it brought back a lot of memories for him. Haha. Anyway, Eugene, Wan Yi and Weiren then left, which means only me, Felicia, Israel and Isaiah stayed for dinner.

So the "Fantastic four" had dinner at Yew Tee food court. We spent a lot of time laughing and joking with one another and that brought the day to an end on a high.
