Asia Conference Day 2

ok, Qm is here again to narrate day 2 of Asia Conference. Once again, forgive me if i forget a few things... haha

Prelogue- I arranged with the cg people to meet at 430pm@ Expo. Unfortunately, they all turned up except me. Poor Caspia even took cab down just to meet us. Anyway it was because i was rushing to finish up my proj. Need to hand up tom, So Paiseh kks... So they ended up booking the seats without me.

6pm- Fashionably late.. was expected to seat at hall 10 already. However, i was quite persistant. I wanted to sit with the cg no matter what. Joining them in the queue was already out of the question so i had to find another way into the hall by hook or by crook.

620pm-Somehow i found my way into hall 8, through the back entrance. The doors had not opened yet and as expected, there was already a crowd of people gathering there. "Perfect!" i thought, "i'll just blend in with the crowd" lol, like so cheating la. So i joined the queue and waited for the doors to open.

630pm- The doors opened and i rushed into the hall with the people. It took me quite a while to find the cg people. Thats because i got confused with Caspia's directions and i became increasingly frustrated as time passed. It was until Jasper said " u rem where the parade of ministries start? Ya, thats where we are seated." Then only i realised where the cg was.

7pm- there was a game activity going on before service. It was the brainiest family game. That game was very entertaining and 1 family even came in with the top prize. Wow! Anyway i realised the game also exposed my shortcomings in bible knowledge. I practically answered every question related to the bible wrongly. Sian* i better go read the bible more in the depth from now on. I was also muti-tasking during that time, rushing my proj while at the same time watching the game progress. Anyway, the game ended in 20 mins and everyone soon settled down for service

730pm- Lights out. The video for Asia Conference began to play. Lol, i kept thinking this trailer somehows resembles a movie blockbuster trailer. Imagine..... "A CHC production.... Asia Conference.... Staring Pastor Kong".... then he will begin to speak "when the holy spirt breathes upon you...." soon it will be followed by Pastor Ulf, Pastor Phil, Dr Ar Bernard and Benny Hinn with their various quotes. There you have it! The ultimate "Blockbuster" event of the year...haha. It was followed by the Praise and Worship sessions led by the True Worshippers and Don Moen. Wha, i'm telling you. both Sidney Mohede and Don Moen rocks man. I think both of them bring up the spiritual atmosphere really well. Btw, did u all kw that Sidney Mohede is a youth pastor also? Ok, mayb u knew...I'm a bit slow la.....so.......ya.

Anyway, it was a great time of PnW. I found myself screaming throughout the session. Actually maybe i was inspired by Wan yi standing beside me. I felt like i was having a screaming competition with her. I gave up after a while cos she's from choir. Of cos i lose la... haha. We then sat down to watch the various nations being represented on stage. I felt that was an ideal opportunity for the church to build bridges with the crowd. If you ask me why i can recall this so vividly, its because of Weipin. He told me he was going to volunteer as a model and boy! it was unlike any ordinary modeling job. He came on as "Mr Beijing". Honestly for a minute, i didnt kw whether to clap or laugh at that sight. In the end, i did both. Pastor soon came up the stage as well to adress the crowd. He told us that every single nation in Asia was being represented here. In fact, he also told us that there were a total of 72 nations that were represented. Which means nations from other parts of the world even came to our conference. Amazing eh?!

We soon had another round of testimony sharing. This time, it was the Pastors from CHC KL, Indonesia and New Life Church from Taiwan, who came up to share testimonies of God's work in their churches. Truly, every single one of these Churches experienced a mighty move of God as they all had mutiple breakthroughs in growth. Praise the Lord! Truly, my prayer for them is to continue to grow even more exponentially after the Asia Conference.

Next up, we had the offering session. This was led by Pastor himself. He showed us a video of Sun doing humanitarian work in China. This work was done to attend to the needs of children, who lost their homes or family members due to the Shichuan Earthquake. Truly, Sun is doing a great work in the world, shinning as a bright testimony of God by helping all the children. I pray that God will truly open up more doors for her to do forth even more humanitarian works in China. Once again, Pastor reiterated that none of the offerings would be going to our church but rather, channeled towards the works of helping the poor and needy people.

After that, Carola came up to perform. She sang her hit song "invincible" Man, i tell u i'll be invincible too if i can sing like her. LOL. Her voice is great la, i think she must have iron lungs installed in her body, haha. Following which, we had Pastor Ulf himself who started to sing. Not pop songs of cos but to lead us in worshipping the Lord. There was an air of tranquility as the presence of God began to be evident in the hall as we were all worshipping the Lord.

He then began to preach or rather, share the word with us. Cos i seriously think his style is more of sharing la. He makes the word become so real and informal in our lives. Therefore, thats what i think makes him a great apostle. Anyway, he shared along the lines of generation gaps and how God works through relationships. You cannot receive the anoiting of God without first having a relationship with a man/woman of God. Thats just so true la. That reminds me of a joke he shared. He said "i hate it when people come up to me after services and say i want the anoiting. pls pastor, lay hands on me. " Following which Pastor replied "sure, i'll lay my hands on you." He then proceeded to mimic some punching actions. It was really funny la. Anyway, he ended the session by laying hands on all the pastors as well as asking God to pardon our sins that has caused generations to drift away from each other.

Once again, it was another memorable day of Asia conference. Great PnW session, testimonies, Singers, and Sharing of word. I was dead tired at the end of the day but happy. Cos i really learnt many new things there and like how one of our worship songs goes " greater things are yet to come" i truly believe in that and i look forward towards another day ahead of me tom. =D Qm
