Lets just say, you won't expect this coming from her, haha..jk. Without further ado, let me introduce the identity of the new writer... She is none other than Our beloved Ms Jingyuan!!!!!!!
Hello w406!!! Jing Yuan here! Just want to encourage my fellow brothers and sisters with this message =D
This is in view of the upcoming outreach events and this message reaches out to all of you who are constantly reaching out to your family members and friends!
Well, do not be disheartened while reaching out, for God sees and remembers your effort! Surely, someday that friend or family member you had in mind will be saved because of your efforts, just like what Pastor Tan (or Pastor Zhuang) had said before!
Do not become bitter but be encouraged that God will surely, through you, do great things, even as you ARE doing great things for Him now! God will never forget a bird or a fish, He will surely remember you! So do not be weary while doing good for I am sure, your time for harvest is here!
Matthew 9:36- 38 talks about the compassion of Jesus as He saw the multitudes that were weary and scattered as if like sheep without shepherd.
So here in 9:37-38 says, "Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few."
"Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."
Let us therefore be laborers and reach out to the lost (which is the harvest these two verses are talking about). We are children of God, so we can actually lead those who are lost out there, be it in your school or your family to Christ! For we are the fishers of men! :D
This can happen in your neighbourhood, your school, anywhere…Your acquaintances, your best friends, or whoever will be saved!!! You can bring them to Christ this Christmas season! This is because the lost sheep are crying out for a shepherd. They are waiting for your call and invitation. :)
So reach out in great faith and love for them. Bring them to church and welcome them with the bottom of our hearts! :D Thus for this upcoming few weeks, let us, w406, once again, experience great growth like what we had during the Easter season. I'm sure God is about to move in a great way through us!
Also, remember that we are the salt of the earth that doesn't lose its flavour, and the light of the world, a city set on a hill! That we can bring a perfect balance by continuing to serve others and yet being a salt and light that glorifies God! Let's not talk about the message but bring the message to them.
So, let us not lose hope okay? So let's gambatte! (Chinese: jia you! English: add oil! =x) and do our very best together, united as one in the body of Christ!!! For in due season, we shall reap its harvest if we do not lose heart!! :D
